12 Criteria for People Prayed by Allah's Angels

Did you know that there are certain people whom the angels pray for? Yes, those people are among the elect. They are included in the special criteria for accepting prayers from the angels. Who are they?

Here are some criteria for people who are prayed for by the angels, these people at least carry out the following 12 things:
  1. The person who sleeps in a
state of purity, the Prophet SAW said, "Whoever sleeps in a state of purity, then the angels will be with him in his clothes. He will not stand up until the Angel prays 'O Allah, forgive your servant so-and-so for sleeping in a pure state'," (Imam Ibnu Hibban narrated from Abdullah bin Umar ra., this hadith was authenticated by Shaykh Al Albani in Sahih At Targhib wat Tarhib I/ 37).
  2. People who are sitting waiting for the time of prayer
“There is not one of you who sits waiting for prayer, as long as he is in a state of purity, except the angels will pray for him: 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah have mercy on him'” (HR. Imam Muslim from Abu Hurairah, Sahih Muslim 469).
  3. The people who are in the front row in the congregational prayer
"Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings on (the people) who are in the front rows," (Imam Abu Dawud (and Ibn Khuzaimah) from Barra' bin 'Azib).
  4. The people who connect the rows (not leaving a gap in the row)
The Imams namely Ahmad, Ibnu Majah, Ibnu Khuzaimah, Ibnu Hibban and Al Hakim narrate from Aisha ra., that the Messenger of Allah SAW said, "Indeed Allah and the angels always bless to those who connect the rows," (this hadith was authenticated by Shaykh Al Albani in Sahih At Targhib wat Tarhib I/272).
  5. The angels say 'amen' when an imam finishes reciting al-Fatihah
Imam Bukhari narrated from Abu Hurairah radiyallahu 'anhu, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If an imam reads 'ghairil maghdhuubi 'alaihim waladh dhaalinn', then say 'amen' , because whoever's speech coincides with the angel's speech, then he will be forgiven for his past sins," (Sahih Bukhari no. 782).
  6. The person who sits in his prayer area after praying
"The angels will always bless (pray) to one of you as long as he is in the prayer area where he is praying, as long as he has not canceled his ablution, (the angels) say: ' O Allah, forgive and love him," (HR. Imam Ahmad from Abu Hurairah, Al Musnad no. 8106).
  7. People who perform Fajr and Asr prayers in congregation
Imam Ahmad narrated from Abu Hurairah ra., that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The angels gathered at the time of the dawn prayer, then the angels (who accompanied the servant) at night (who had been on duty at night until dawn) ascended (to the sky), and the angels during the day stay. Then they gathered again at the time of the 'asr prayer and the angels assigned during the day (until the 'asr prayer) ascended (to the sky). While the angels who were on duty at night remained, then God asked them, 'How did you leave my servant?' They replied, 'We arrived while they were praying and we left them while they were praying, so forgive them on the last day'," (Al Musnad no. 9140, this hadith was authenticated by Shaykh Ahmad Syakir).

  • The person who prays for his brother without the knowledge of the person being prayed for, the
Prophet SAW said, "The prayer of a Muslim for his brother that is done without the knowledge of the person he is praying for is a prayer that will be answered. On his head there is an angel who is his representative, every time he prays for his brother with a good deed, then the angel says 'amen and you also receive what he gets'," (Narrated by Imam Muslim from Ummud Darda' ra., Sahih Muslim No. 2733).

  • Those who do charity
"There is not a single day in which a servant is with him in the morning except that 2 angels descend upon him, one of them saying, 'O Allah, reward those who give alms'. And others said, 'Oh God, destroy the wealth of the stingy person'" (HR. Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim from Abu Hurairah, Sahih Bukhari 1442 and Sahih Muslim 1010).

  • People who eat suhoor
IMAM Ibnu Hibban and Imam Ath Thabrani, narrated from Abdullah bin Umar ra., that the Messenger of God SAW said, "Verily, Allah and His angels bless those who eat suhoor," (this hadith was authenticated by Shaykh Al Albani in Sahih At Targhiib wat Tarhiib I/519).

  • The person who visits the sick
"No believer visits his brother, except that Allah will send 70,000 angels for him who will bless him at any time during the day until evening and at any time at night until dawn," (HR. Imam Ahmad from 'Ali bin Abi Talib, Al Musnad 754).

  • Someone who is teaching goodness to others
"The preference of a scholar over a specialist in worship is like my preference over the lowest among you. Indeed, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, even the ants in their holes and even the fish, all bless those who teach good to others," (HR. Imam Tirmidhi from Abu Umamah Al Bahily).
